During the guided tour of the museums belonging to the
restaurant,
the Emperor Franz Joseph Hat Museum and the Imperial and Royal Wine Treasure Vault,
the visitor can - in contrast to traditional museum fare - rather than just viewing
museum pieces,
try on the treasures from the hat collection and even enjoy a glass of Moet Chandon
in the wine vaults - a treat for the palate, heart and soul.
As a special gift a personalised banquet card
is included with the name of each individual guest
in art print quality containing the sequence of dishes on the menu and programme.
Furthermore the package includes an award-winning dessert wine bottle from the
vinotheque
of the Imperial and Royal Wine Treasure Vault labelled with the portrait of the
Empress Maria Theresa and,
if you wish, your company logo. The original portrait is displayed in our restaurant.

1st course at His Majesty's table on 2 June 1873
on the occasion of the international exposition in Vienna
in the presence of the imperial couple and the Russian Tsar as well as the couple
who were heirs to the throne,
Leopold II, King of the Belgians with numerous other distinguished guests and
VIPs in Schönbrunn summer palace.
Electric light shone from the tops of the Imperial and Royal summer palace for
the first time and lit up the jets of water
and bubbling cascades of the fountains.
